4.1 Product labelling „Environmentally Friendly“ – what does this eco-labelling means?
EcoCover is the first paper mulch mat in the world to secure an internationally
accredited eco-label license and is subject to an annual audit to ensure the very
high standards required for this type of certification are being maintained.
EcoCover (NZ) Limited has received certification to use the prestigious Environmental
Choice New Zealand Label, a New Zealand Government initiative. Few New Zealand
products meet the high environmental standards required to qualify. EcoCover mulch
EcoCrop (in Czech distribution under the trade name EkoCover Seedling) mat underwent
a rigorous, independent audit of the product's specification prior to being approved.
We expect to receive the Environmentally Friendly label and also approved Czech
certification for organic products, as soon as the product is launched in the Czech Republic.
